Georgian Renovation & Additions
This complete gut rehab included a new first floor kitchen, with two bump outs for a new entry and library extension, maximizing the floor area ratio (FAR) of this stately Georgian home in historic Cambridge. The renovations also included a new 2nd floor master suite complete with outdoor deck, and a full renovation of the 3rd floor attic with 3 new dormers that added wonderful space and character to the original home.
The client insisted that the project look as though it has always been there, sitting as it does in this stately historic neighborhood of Cambridge. The back deck accessed off of the breakfast room provide was carefully landscaped into the Zen-like atmosphere of the enclosed private back yard.
