Colonial Scenic Way

Milton

Located on one of the scenic ways in Milton, this original two-family home, occupied on the north side by the owners for over 10 years, was expanded to accommodate their growing family. Encouraged by the prospect of experiencing direct southern light, the building was rebuilt from the inside out, replacing two sets of narrow central stairs with one, and a new first floor complete with new kitchen.

With one entry needed now instead of two, a central portico added character to the front façade balancing the new dormers for the new bedrooms in the attic. A new master suite and library on the 2nd floor completed the scope of the project. The major structural scope also included new expanding foam insulation throughout with radiant floors and a new high efficiency mechanical system. This project is due for completion in the spring of 2011.
